A-13-0686, In re Interest of Alyssa B.

Lancaster County Separate Juvenile Court, Judge Linda S. Porter

Attorney for Appellant:  Susan L. Kirchmann (Wertz & Associates)

Attorney for Appellee:  Alicia Henderson (Lancaster County Attorney’s Office)

Juvenile Action:  Termination of Parental Rights

Action Taken by Trial Court:  The trial court terminated the appellant’s parental rights pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 43-292(2) and (6) (Reissue 2008), and found that termination was in the minor child’s best interests.

Assignments of Error on Appeal:  The appellant assigns that the juvenile court erred by finding that his actions constituted substantial and continuous or repeated neglect or refusal to give the minor child necessary care and protection, by not finding that he had substantially corrected the conditions leading to adjudication, and finding that it was in the minor child’s best interests to terminate his parental rights.
