Gage County, District Court Judge Paul Korslund

Attorney for Appellant:  Lyle J. Koenig (Koenig Law Firm)

Attorney for Appellee:  Chris A. Johnson (Conway, Pauley & Johnson, P.C.)

Civil Action:  Visitation and Custody Modification

Action Taken by Trial Court:  The district court modified the prior visitation arrangement by ordering appellant to participate in supervised visitation with the child for a specific period of time; denied appellant’s motion to change custody; and awarded appellee attorney fees

Assignments of Error on Appeal: On appeal, appellant alleges that the district court erred by (1) permitting the child’s therapist to testify as an expert; (2) failing to order an independent psychological evaluation of the child; (3) ordering supervised visitation between appellant and the child; (4) entering a directed verdict denying appellant’s motion to change custody; (5) reducing appellant’s summer visitation time with the child; and (6) ordering appellant to pay a portion of appellee’s attorney fees.
