Responsible for conducting drug/alcohol screens utilizing various sanctioned testing methodologies, collecting and disposing of urine specimens, maintaining accountability for specimen identification, communicating on a regular basis withprobation staff and documenting results of drug/alcohol testing for case files, testifying in court regarding positive drug/alcohol screens, and collecting statistics pertaining to drug/alcohol screens for submission to the Administrative Office of Probation. Prior experience working with client populations helpful as is substance abuse or chemical testing training. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients, capable of organizing and prioritizing daily work activities. Graduation from high school or its equivalent and successfully complete required training associated with drug/alcohol screening methodologies.
