Fourteen Submit their Names for District Judge in the Fourth Judicial District

LINCOLN – David G. Anderson, Greg M. Ariza, Steven S. Chase, Wesley S. Dodge, Douglas D. Grieser, Kim B. Hawekotte, RoseMarie R. Horvath, Michael J. Matukewicz, Patrick A. McCormick, Kristina B. Murphree, Michelle (Shelly) R. Stratman, Gregory M. Thomas, Diana J. Vogt, and Margaret M. Zarbano, all of Omaha, have submitted applications for appointment as District Judge in the Fourth Judicial District (Douglas County). The primary place of office for the judicial vacancy is Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. The vacancy is due to the retirement of Judge J. Patrick Mullen.

The public hearing of the Judicial Nominating Commission will be held in District Court Courtroom #1 at the Douglas County Hall of Justice in Omaha, Nebraska, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. The Commission will review all applicants for the office at that time. The public is welcome to attend the hearing and present information concerning candidates for the judicial opening.
