I received extensive mediation training during the years 1993-1998. In addition to basic and family mediation training, I received 36 hours of continuing education in mediation at the international meeting of Academy of Family Mediators in July, 1994, Federal Court Mediation Training in May 1995, and Victim-Offender Mediation training from ODR in March 1998. During that time I had a mediation practice where I mediated several hundred cases each year. Since 1998, I have been a District Court Judge in Douglas County, Nebraska. I retired from the bench March 1, 2011.
