Helen Abdouch (Appellant) v. Ken Lopez and Ken Lopez Bookseller

Douglas County District Court, Judge Kimberly Pankonin

Attorneys: Mary Kay Green (Appellant) --- Michael C. Cox, David A. Yudelson, Kristin M.V. Farwell (Koley Jessen, P.C., L.L.O)

Civil:  Invasion of Privacy/Lack of Personal Jurisdiction

Proceedings Below:  Defendant’s motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction was granted without prejudice by the Court.

Issue:  The trial court erred in sustaining Lopez and Lopez Booksellers Motion to Dismiss because even Lopez and Lopez Bookseller’s webpage www.lopezbooks.com, shows aiming at Nebraska and Abdouch and because there was intent, aiming and harm suffered in Nebraska at the time of the action arose, or the time of the filing of the suit.
