Case Summary

A-19-127, Freyer-Reining (Appellant) v. Reining

Sarpy County, District Court Judge George A. Thompson

Attorney for Appellant:  Matthew Stuart Higgins (Higgins Law)

Attorney for Appellee: Angela Lennon (Koenig|Dunne, PC, LLO)

Civil Action:  Dissolution of Marriage

Action Taken by Trial Court:  Following a trial, the district court entered a dissolution decree distributing the parties' marital assets and debts. A subsequent order nun pro tunc was entered modifying the equalization amounts between the parties.

Assignments of Error on Appeal:  The appellant argues that the district court erred: (1) in calculating the equalization payments due from wife to husband; (2) failing to find that the Trial Ridge property and a 401(k) were the wife's premarital assets; (3) awarding the Prairie Ridge property to the wife; and (4) failing to find that the husband had dissipated marital assets.
