I have been affiliated with The Mediation Center in Lincoln since about September 2015. I have co-mediated about 30 parenting plans, some to completion, as well as other divorce-related matters. I have attended every training offered by the Mediation Center that I can get to. I have an active law license which I maintain, but do not practice outside of mediation at this time. I also have coached law students learning mediation, and have participated in victim-offender juvenile justice conferencing and juvenile court pre-hearing facilitations. When I practiced law I handled mainly family law cases, and I have seen firsthand how having a parenting plan in place makes life better for the children of divorcing parents, helping to ensure that they have the support and care of both parents on a predictable schedule. I also think that a good workable parenting plan reduces parental conflict, which also benefits the children.
