Hero Awards Presented to Probation Officers and Teams

Hero Awards Presented to Probation Officers and Teams

Each year Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Nebraska holds their MADD Hero Awards honoring those doing work to keep the state safe. The event recognizes outstanding work by law enforcement, probation, prosecutors, community partners, and volunteers. Each individual recognized is said to be a part of the puzzle -- a piece that helps prevent impaired driving, educate our communities, and ensure that laws are upheld. They are credited by MADD for creating a future with No More Victims.

The annual event was held May 21 , 2019, in Lincoln.

Individual Award recipients included:
  • Cindy Wohlers-Green, Reporting Center Coordinator, District 3A
  • Shannon Travis, Specialized Probation Officer, District 5 Probation

Probation Team Award recipients included:
